Laceration injury claims

From handling sharp or jagged objects to faulty equipment and falling objects, lacerations are relatively common among work accident injuries.

‘Lacerations’ could cover a range of injuries, from cuts to the hand through to more severe slashes and punctures where the tendons, muscles, ligament or bone beneath is compromised. Such injuries can of course leave scarring behind which may be permanent and noticeable.

UK legislation dictates that your employer should assess the risk of any duties that you undertake and take appropriate steps to make the workplace safe, including any equipment you use.  If you sustain a laceration injury in the course of your duties, then you may be entitled to pursue a personal injury claim through your employer’s liability insurance.

Liability may not always be admitted by the employer.  Work Claims Bureau have a wealth of experience in handling work accident claims, from the straightforward to substantial and complex claims with arguments over liability, the causation of injury and the level of damages that should be awarded.

We have access to a panel of highly-respected experts to ensure that your medical evidence is comprehensive and clear.  Our solicitors progress matters diligently through all stages of the claims process to ensure that all aspects of your pain, suffering and losses are accounted for and that your settlement is not left at the mercy of the insurer.
